A bit about me...

Hellooooo! I’m Jordan. I’m thrilled that you’ve stumbled upon my tiny corner of the internet. Seriously. THANK YOU for being here!

I’m a full-time elementary teacher with a side of freelance writing/travel blogging.

As much as I LOVE to travel, I also enjoy routine, being home, and sleeping in my own cozy bed. Anyone else?

You won’t find me living in a van or backpacking for months on end. BUT, I do like to spruce up the monotony of daily life by exploring the USA through long weekend trips!

I especially love road trips (as the passenger…thanks to my husband :)), waterfalls, sunsets, weekend trips, dog-friendly adventures (Thor is my bestie), day-hiking, and exploring underrated states.

Throughout this blog, you will find detailed 3-day weekend guides (from myself and locals), dog-friendly travel inspiration, unique stays, and a few gear reviews here and there. I am hoping the posts and stories will inspire the average human to get out and travel more!

Traveling IS POSSIBLE on a budget, with a full-time job, and/or with a pup!
