Dreaming of a relaxing getaway? Keep reading to be inspired with these cozy cabins to rent all around the world!
I always joke that I am a “professional social distancer”. Not in the sense that I purposely avoid people, but when I vacation, I love to rent a secluded cozy cabin, unplug, and explore the great outdoors.
After working alllll week, a cozy cabin is the perfect winter getaway. With colder weather quickly approaching, it is the perfect time to find a quaint cabin with a hot tub and fireplace.
I have stayed in my fair share of unique and cozy cabins in the United States, but in order to get a fair repsentation of the rest of the world, I reached out to expert travel bloggers to share their favorites cozy cabin rentals.
Have fun dreaming and planning your next winter getaway!

Pennsylvania
Galeton
Picture and Post by Pamela of The Directionally Challenged Traveler
A remote cabin nestled in the woods, surrounded by nature is an ideal getaway. This cabin is also located within 10 minutes of Cherry Springs Dark Sky Park. This is the darkest park in America east the Mississippi. Located in north-central Pennsylvania, you can see the Milky Way with your naked eye throughout most of the year.
The cabin is a furnished one bedroom with all the necessary amenities (except wifi and cable – so bring your DVD’s! Or a good book). It even has a picnic bench and fire pit outside. For only $25, you can bring your dog with you. Our dog gets excited around people, but the cabin was very remote that he was able to be off-leash without worry!
We enjoyed a few hikes around the cabin during the day and the breathtaking stargazing that the park had to offer.
The Details:
- Location: Galeton, Pennsylvania
- Price: Starts at 115 US dollars per night
- Sleeps: up to 4 guests
- Minimum Night Stay: 1 night

Loch Tay Highland Lodges is a must when it comes to the BEST cozy cabins to rent. With an array of lodges to stay in, including ones with hot tubs, there’s something for everyone and all budgets.
I stayed in the hideout with a hot tub and fell in love. With a HUGE Loch with organized activities such as paddleboarding and gorge walking and a beautiful Italian restaurant by the water, you don’t even have to leave the site if you don’t wish to.
Though you can venture into the nearby villages for gorgeous waterfalls, quaint pubs, and stunning walks in Killin. Or head to the local gin distillery and have a boozy afternoon ready to head back to the hot tub afterward! Stopping in Edinburgh on your way to and from your stay?! Here is my guide for the ultimate 48 hours to make sure you see as much as possible.
The Details:
- Location: Scottish Highlands
- Price: start from £55 per night
- Minimum Night Stay?: 2 nights
