I am SO excited that you are planning a trip to Idaho Springs! You will quickly fall in love with everything this quaint mountain town has to offer. From beautiful hikes to delicious restaurants, Idaho Springs deserves a spot on your Colorado bucket list.

During a recent weekend getaway, I was able to stay at Uplift Inn in the heart of the city. It was the optimal home base for the adventures to take place. I’m SO EXCITED to share all about my experience at The Uplift Inn.

Getting to Uplift Inn

Uplift Inn is located in the heart of Idaho Springs, just one hour from Denver. After landing at Denver International, you can easily pick up a rental car and head 53 miles west. It’s such a perfect weekend trip from the big city!

The hotel is just .9 miles from Miner Street (downtown Idaho Springs) AND Indian Hot Springs. Plus, it’s a just a short drive to Mount Evans, Grays Peak, and other epic outdoor adventures.

Checking in to Uplift Inn

If you are anything like me, you LOVE an easy check-in process. When I travel, my days are usually jam-packed with adventures which means I do not always know what time I will be able to check-in.

Uplift Inn sends you a text message before arriving with a unique door code. You can then check-in seamlessly at your convenience. There’s no need to stop at an office before doing so!

Amenities at Uplift Inn

Formerly known as JC suites, the new owners of the Uplift Inn have put a tremendous amount of work into the motel to make it an inviting and comfortable space at an affordable price point. There are currently 9 rooms to choose from each offering unique and modern mountain décor.

We stayed in Room 8 which had a comfy king-sized bed, a couch, table, large bathroom (complete with toiletries and a wonderful shower), microwave, mini-fridge, air conditioner, small fan, personal ice machine, and even a hot water pitcher. It had everything you could need for a weekend getaway.

Right next door, there was a delicious BBQ restaurant and a newly opened brewery! There was even a coupon for buy-one-get-one beers in our room + a free parking coupon if you were to venture downtown (which you totally should).

Personal Reaction of Staying at Uplift Inn + Quick Facts

The room was spacious, extremely clean, and perfect for a quick weekend getaway to Idaho Springs...have I said that enough?! 🙂 I appreciated the mountain décor and personal touches throughout. The owners even checked-in via text message during the stay!

The bed was comfy which I truly (truly) appreciated after days filled with challenging hikes. I was very thankful to have slept like a baby each night.

I will definitely be back…next time with my pup as they are dog-friendly!
