There’s even a quaint riverwalk to explore where you will likely see many Elk along the way. It’s important to note that prices will be significantly more expensive during the peak summer months.

Here are some ideas for where to stay in Estes Park!

1. Murphy’s Resort

  • City: Estes Park
  • Distance from Rocky Mountain National Park: 12 minutes or 6.3 miles

Murphy’s Resort made for a wonderful one-night stay. The rooms are basic, but include everything you could need. The staff was friendly upon check-in, and the lobby had a small shop with essentials, movies to borrow, and even free popcorn.

You’ll also find a playground, yard games, and an indoor pool and hot tub. It’s very affordable during the off-season, but also one of the more affordable options during Peak (hotels in Estes Park can get pretty expensive).
