When the sun goes down, it’s time to elevate your look with something a little more polished (but still comfortable). There’s really no dress code on a Virgin Voyages cruise, so you have the freedom to choose what you like.
1. Cocktail Party Dress
This cocktail party dress is flattering and perfect for feeling fancy aboard the ship.
2. Bodycon Maxi Dress
A floral bodycon dress is PERFECT for the sailaway party to get you in the vacay mood.
3. Classy Black Dress
You can’t go wrong with a simple, classy black dress. Throw on a pair of black heels, and you’ll be ready to dance the night away!
4. 3-Piece Outfit
If looking for something a bit different, this 3-piece outfit was a fun change. Pair it with some gold jewelry, and you’ll be set to go! It’s a bit more casual than the rest, but still elevated enough for a fancy dinner.

For Scarlet Night, lean into bold, all-red looks that match the energy of the ship’s most iconic party. Yes, almost EVERYBODY will be wearing red so this is a night you don’t want to skip.

Each sailing brings a few fun themed nights, perfect for stepping outside your comfort zone and packing something fun. On our first cruise, we didn’t take advantage of these nights, but we will for sure be paying attention to themes next time.
1. Pajama Night
I did regret not packing a cute pair of pajamas. Everyone was wearing some, and the dance party was the best of the entire cruise. Here’s a simple set that you can mix and match!
2. 80’s Night
Most of the voyages include an 80’s night. How fun would it be to put this set on after dinner?!
3. 70s Night
If you really want to go alllll out, this 70s costume is perfect. Complete with the headband, sunglasses, and jewelry.
Bimni Beach (or another Beach Port)
If you Virgin Cruise that makes a stop at the famous Bimini Beach (Virgin’s private beach club), you’ll want easy beachwear that transitions seamlessly from ocean dips to beachside cocktails. The following looks can of course be for any beach day!

The beach club has lawn games, bars, and lunch, so a cute cover-up is essential
