As much as I LOVE big adventures, my goal for 2026 is to be more intentional about living a full life in the in betweens. As someone who works a full-time (in-person) job, this can sometimes be tough as I’m usually just SO TIRED (anyone else?) So, in order to inspire fellow 9-5ers (and myself), I’ve created this massive list of 101 ideas to help you be a tourist in your own city. These microadventures help add some excitement to your predictable life (and you can save that PTO for your bucket list vacays).

You don’t need a plane ticket or a long weekend to feel like you’ve gone somewhere; sometimes, all it takes is a little curiosity and a willingness to see your own city with fresh eyes. Let’s dive into these microadventures that you can try THIS weekend.
